What is Temail?

Temail (Transactional email) is a content management system that facilitates email messaging for use in Wine Software Back Office.

Temail uses Stationery for consistent branding & presentation. Email headers, footers, social links, and logos are placed into Temail Stationary for consistency across all messaging.

Temail uses Templates for content with personalization by mail merging customer, member, club, and order information into your email.

Temail uses Persona’s to create a departmental identity such as sender name and reply address. If you want to maintain a unique identity for each department (e.g., Wine Club, Tasting Room, Events, Wholesale), you can setup a Persona for each.

Using Temail

Temail is used to design email Templates. Once your Templates are created, they are available for use by the Wine Software Back Office system which is where email is sent and managed.

Sending Temail in Wine Software Back Office is easy! Choose a customer, member, or segmented list from most any screen, datasheet, or Bullseye, select a template and click send!

Practical use includes wine club processing of notifications, billing, card declines, pickup, shipment tracking, invoice receipts, event info, etc.

Quick Steps

The following check list will get you up and running in no time!

• Install Temail software to your workstation
• Edit Settings
• Create an Email Provider
• Create a Persona
• Upload your Images (see: "Working with Images")
• Create your Stationery
• Create your Templates
• Start sending Temail!

Temail Main Menu

Double click the Temail icon on your desktop to get to the main menu. Temail recognizes your Back Office username and password to get you logged in.

Login: Enter your Back Office username and password to gain access to the Temail system.

Logout: Click the logout button to logout of Temail.

Stationery, Templates, Content Editor

Stationery

Temail uses Stationery for consistent branding & presentation for your messaging - think of Stationery as your company ‘Letterhead’. Stationery contains your email header, footer, social links, and logo.

Template

Temail uses Templates for the email body (content) with personalization by mail merging customer, member, club, and order information into your email template.

Content Editor

Stationery and Templates are edited in the Content Editor where you can edit content, or perform additional actions such as Trash, Duplicate, Rename and Preview.
