Mobile POS Setup
The following instructions will prepare you to activate your new iPad POS. Wine Software will assist with the Activation step once the first two steps are completed.
Activation Requirements
- Server - The Wine Software host computer must be configured with a Static IP
- iPad - Apple iPad or iPad Air; A8 Fusion Chip or greater; Min 2GB memory, Min 16GB storage.
1. What you will need
- iPad Passcode to Unlock
- Apple ID & Password
- Private WiFi Name & Password
- Card Readers charged and installed to the iPad
- Receipt Printer IP number(s) – if applicable
- Kitchen Printer IP number(s) – if applicable
Note: If your printers have not been set up, you will need to contact the supplier of the printer and have them assist you in getting the printer setup on your private WiFi with a static IP number.
2. iPad Setup
- Unbox iPad(s)
- Turn on iPad and if brand new, go through startup prompts
- Connect your iPad(s) to your Private WiFi network
- Turn on Automatic Updates (Settings | General | Software Update | Automatic Updates)
- Install Cash Manager for Mobile App from the Apple App Store, search for: Winesoftware
- Launch Cash Manager and grant access to use the Microphone, Camera and Local Network
3. Activation - Call Wine Software to Activate
- Configure & Test peripherals (receipt printer, cash drawer, etc.)
- Activate the iPad App
You are now ready to start using your new Cash Manager Mobile POS from Wine Software!
